Child Safety Standards
Ula is a social app operated by Workouse Ltd. Şti. for people aged 18 and over only. People under 18 may not use Ula. These standards apply to all users and user-generated content.
Child abuse and exploitation are prohibited
Ula explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or linking to it.
- Grooming: building trust with a child for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sexual solicitation of minors, requesting sexual content or acts from anyone under 18, or sexually exploiting a minor.
- Promoting, facilitating or threatening child sexual abuse or exploitation.
How to report a concern
Report a suspicious profile, content or behaviour through the existing in-app reporting tools. Open the three-dot menu on the person’s profile card on the venue wall and choose Report User. Explain your child-safety concern; also report any account you believe belongs to someone under 18.
If you cannot use the app or want to contact the child-safety team directly, email csam@ulasocial.com. This address is monitored for child-safety reports.
Do not email, download, copy or redistribute illegal images or videos. Instead, provide the account identifier or username you already know, the approximate date and time, the venue name and a brief description of your concern. Do not contact the suspected person to gather more evidence. Avoid unnecessary personal data, especially sensitive information about a child.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services; do not wait for a response from Ula.
Review and enforcement
Ula reviews child-safety reports and detection flags and takes appropriate action, including removing prohibited content and restricting or terminating accounts. Where required by applicable law, Ula reports suspected child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
Child-safety point of contact
Ula’s contact for child-safety reports and communications from relevant authorities is csam@ulasocial.com.
